Over the years of guiding Sound healing baths I have had a variety of experiences. Sometimes there wouldn't be much more happening other than huge clearing. Other times we would go straight into the Higher dimensions, traveling light and fast through the energetic vastness of creation.
Why is it that sometimes we can go "flying" straight away and sometimes we literally can't see the light for the mud and smog?
The answer is in our everyday activities.
Someone didn't clean up after themselves and you get annoyed. Rather than either letting it go or owning your feelings of annoyance / frustration / anger and processing them there and then, you decide to hold on to the frustration-energy, put it in your energetic bag, which you carry with you and continue in your day.
That's one for clearing.
Either at a Sound bath or somewhere else.
If you keep sweating the small and bigger stuff and hold on to everything "bad" someone did or every fault another has, then your bag starts filling up. It becomes heavier and fuller, until one day it's so heavy that you break down under its weight.
Things fall out all at once in one big crash and you end up exploding, having the biggest eruption over the tiniest thing.
Those who happen to be around you at that time get it the worst. They usually are the closest people to you. Sometimes these are random passersby, who did something to you, entirely unintentionally in a supermarket, for example.
How about choosing to become softer?
So you get annoyed. Oh well, you sit there for some time in your annoyance. Take a moment to take yourself away from people at this point - unloading on other people doesn't serve them or you (and you know this).
You breathe, you puff, you hit a pillow = you are expressing that anger / frustration. You are letting it flow through you... and as it does it gradually leaves your system. It might actually feel like it's building up for a while, rather than decreasing - that's OK. You're possibly letting other things flow through you, not only that uncleaned dish or untidy toilet. You might be processing other people's anger or frustration in that moment as well. Just because you can handle it and your Soul loves to serve when they can.
And so you huff and puff and gradually let it go. It can take 5 minutes. It can take 1 hour, it can take however long it takes.
So what? That's really OK. You are your own boss.
And then you let it go. You become softer. The emotions have left you, you have let them flow... You look at the seeming culprit of the situation, the one who cause you to anger and you start seeing their softer side too. After all, they are doing their best on this planet, in the life, just like you are. Those moments of unawareness by them? You have them too.
And so you start seeing them with softer eyes. There is a bit of compassion, understanding, you start to see the light; the light in them, the light in you.
Everyone is doing their best. Everyone has their things, their moments, their path.
You start realising that by becoming softer, any moment in life will be softer too. Moment by moment you build your life. Why not build a softer, lighter life.
How about carrying an empty bag... or maybe no bag at all? So you can feel things right there and then and just simply let them go and continue on your path.
Softer Life = Lighter Life = Happier Life.
Let us all just drop our bags, so we can enjoy a more satisfyng life, without the harsh, sharp edges.
And then who knows? Maybe every Sound bath or every experience for that matter, can be an experience of total connection to Source and the bliss and peace that comes from it...
Sending you much softness and light,
